NAGATANI-EN Donabe Rice Cooker KAMADO-SAN
NAGATANI-EN Donabe Rice Cooker KAMADO-SAN
Donabe is a type of traditional Japanese earthenware pot that has been used for centuries in Japanese cooking. Kamado-san is characterized by the fact that it does not require any adjustment of the heat level while cooking. Normally, when cooking rice in an earthenware pot, one cooks over medium-high heat and then reduces the heat to low when the rice comes to a boil. But Kamado-san does not require any of that kind of work. Also, while earthenware pots can cause rice to spill over, Kamadosan's double lid functions as a pressure cooker, so there are no spills. The secret of Kamado-san's popularity is its simplicity, but of course it also tastes first class. The moment the lid is opened after cooking, the sweet flavor of the rice is filling the living room! Not only is it sweet, but it also has a unique aroma that is both savory and refreshing.
